St. Elizabeth Seton Parish

A natural aged cedar finish

St. Elizabeth Church in Ridgefield, Connecticut, was built in 1979, in the shape of an equilateral cross. The main entrance is at the foot of the cross, with the main altar at the top which occupies the center of the elevated Sanctuary. The two wings of the cross contain pews seating about 400.

The Elite Construction Solutions team installed our Aged Cedar Enviroshake on the church, covering 14,000 sq ft. This product is the most authentic-looking shake roofing product on the market, featuring industry-leading durability and unsurpassed performance. The Aged Cedar tiles will weather over the course of the first year to reveal their beautiful weathered matte cedar look.

We give our projects centuries of life vs. decades
We designed the additions and renovations of the church. As the existing wood roof was starting to have problems, I suggested Enviroshake as a long-term solution and aesthetically equivalent to wood. We specialize in ICF construction (insulated concrete forms) to give our projects centuries of life vs. decades. Therefore, using a synthetic roof was appropriate for longevity and storms. Enviroshake meets the challenge.
