When we purchased this resort we decided that we wanted to maintain the elegance and traditional look and feel of cedar shakes while having the best fire resistant product possible. We chose your Enviroshake product to meet this need. We replaced all original cedar shakes on site with your Enviroshake product.

Your product has been easy to install, and proven very weather resistant. In January 2005, during a severe windstorm, one of our new 12,500 sq ft lodge additions suffered a construction fire, equivalent to a two alarm city event. Even though our resort is on a remote island location we have a very robust fire fighting system with many fire hydrants in place. This fire suppression system combined with the fire resistant properties of Enviroshake helped contain the fire to the new construction area and two of the smaller original lodge buildings.

Two of the original lodge buildings still had cedar shakes located further away from the construction fire source caught fire unlike the roofs with Enviroshake.
