Project Highlights
The Canadian High Commission House in Kingston, Jamaica recently replaced their cedar shakes with Enviroshake Aged Cedar. Sustainability was a top priority when choosing a roofing material that would outlast their previous cedar shakes.
“At the High Commission, we have been making smart and ecofriendly improvements to our building. Our biggest so far is having the roof completely re-done with a sustainable roofing material from Enviroshake.”
Enviroshake roofing tiles are manufactured from 95% post-industrial recycled materials, which means choosing an Enviroshake roof helps prevent thousands of pounds of plastic from entering our oceans each year and reduces the demand for new oil.
Thank you, Canadian High Commission House, for choosing Enviroshake!
This month we travelled to Wantagh, New York, to visit one of our Enviroshake installations from 2013.
The Jones Beach State Park West Bathhouse was built in 1931 and has undergone several historic restoration projects including a new Silvered Cedar Enviroshake roof.
We’re pleased to report it still looks great!
