Authorization Requested
The applicant sought authorization for the use of Enviroshake®
shingles as a roofing material on roof slopes of 1:3
and steeper.
Assessment
Reports and assessments provided by the applicant show
that if Enviroshake® roofing shingles are manufactured
in accordance with the limitations and conditions stated
in this authorization, they will provide the level of
performance equivalent to that which would be achieved
by conformance with Article 9.26.2.1 of the Ontario
Building Code.
