Enviroshake® starts out a dark brown/grey color and lightens to a silver/grey color similar to that of a 3 to 4 year old cedar roof. The process takes from 3 to 9 months. As with real cedar, there will be slight variations in shading of the shakes, giving the product a natural look on the roof.
